The very special gift of a legacy bequeathed to The Yehudi Menuhin School will undoubtedly make a real impact upon the education and personal development of our gifted young music students. Every legacy given to us throughout the School’s history has helped in creating renowned professional musicians from both the UK and worldwide.
A legacy can leave a lasting footprint in so many ways. For example:
The Menuhin Hall is testament to how some legacy funds have contributed to establishing this superb 300 seat concert hall which has revolutionised student learning experiences
The Bursary Fund (permanent endowment) drawn upon for the provision of means-tested bursaries has given financial aid to students who would otherwise have found it impossible to attend the School
Harris House was built in 1996 and legacy donations enabled us to extend our student numbers by providing 16 additional boarding places at the School.
Each legacy gift - including yours - will help transform student learning experiences for talented young musicians by enabling us to secure resources that are imperative if we are to continue as a leading international centre of excellence for specialist music education in the 21st century.
