Friends of the Yehudi Menuhin School
The Friends' Association was founded in 1971 by Yehudi Menuhin and a neighbour of the School, Sir Ronald Harris. Together with a number of neighbours of the School, including Mrs Keturah Hain, they saw the need for an association to support the pupils and to raise money which would help to improve and develop the quality of life of the pupils. In particular the Friends would provide a regular local audience for performances by the pupils. The Friends have been a wonderful support for the pupils for the past thirty nine years. Members follow the progress of the boys and girls as they move up through the School.
The Friends of the Yehudi Menuhin School is a charity and is run by a Management Committee whose members are elected from among the Friends' membership.
