Hire charges
Please contact the Events Manager for full details as each event is considered
individually.
Availability
The Hall is available for hire throughout the year, in and out of term-time.
Suitability of Events
The Concert Hall is the ideal location for concerts by chamber orchestras,
chamber music groups and choral societies. It can also be used for conferences
by companies and Outreach programmes by Schools. It has been designed
to the highest acoustical specifications.
Recording Facility
The Menuhin Hall is available to hire for recordings. Technical specifications
are listed below but for more details and costs please contact the Events
Manager.
Conference Hire
The Menuhin Hall is also available for hire as a conference centre. In
the beautiful Surrey countryside with caterers on site it is the ideal
venue for companies in the South East for an exclusive and quiet retreat.
We also have close connections with two local, historically interesting
hotels who will give preferential rates to our clients. Please contact
the Events Manager for further details.
Performing
Rights Society
Performing Rights Society royalties are incurred by all qualifying copyright
works performed in the Concert Hall. Copyright in works generally exists
for the life of the composer and last until 70 years after his or her
death. All PRS charges are the responsibility of the promoter and will
be passed on to them in the final reconciliation after a hiring.
Disabled access/Lifts/Lift capacity
The Menuhin Hall has 5 wheelchair places. The seating is on the Ground
Floor of the Hall which is reached by a platform from the car park, and
also on the first floor which can be easily accessed by the lift from
the Ground Floor. There is a disabled toilet on the Ground Floor.
The lift capacity is 1.7m x 1.5 m.
Kitchen & Bar
There is a kitchen and bar available for clients’ use.
Toilet facilities
There are 7 female and 2 male toilets.
Car Parking
There is ample car parking for 125 cars and in addition 5 reserved spaces
for the disabled which have direct access to the Hall.

Cloakroom
There is a cloakroom for hats and coats on the ground floor located next
to the Box Office.
Approved suppliers
Caterers: The Menuhin Hall has an agreement with high quality professional
caterers who can give quotations for any occasion.
Florists
Local Florists can be recommended if required. Flowers are not permitted
in the auditorium itself.
Additional Staff
Stewards/cloakroom attendants/ kitchen and bar staff can be provided.
Please consult directly with the Events Manager
for your individual requirements.
Calligraphy
A calligrapher to handwrite important invitation cards can be recommended.
Please contact the Events Manager.
Art Exhibitions
If you are interested in putting on an Exhibition in the foyer of The Menuhin Hall, please contact the Events
Manager.
Concerts given by pupils of the School
It is also possible to arrange for concerts to be given by pupils of the
School both in The Menuhin Hall itself and at other venues. Please contact
the Events Manager for further details including
fees and availability. The pupils do not perform background music, and
any performance is undertaken only with the permission of the Headmaster
and the Director of Music.
Smoking
Smoking Is not permitted anywhere within the Concert Hall.
